1979 Tan Agro At A Glance

Founded by Mr Tan Ah Kuang and Madam Chiu Tin Chee on 1st May 1979 with the aim to provide fertilizers access to rural growers in Kota Tinggi to help production of palm oil and chilli. With 41 years of experiences in the agriculture sector, the company is well respected with a good reputation in the area. By providing genuine products and services, we are able to cooperate through 3 generations of growers in our region.

2017 marked a significant change to the company leadership. Mr David Tan, the current General Manager has launched new initiatives and innovative approaches into the traditional agribusiness industry. Together with his team, they are able to provide a holistic approach for smallholder farmers in the region. Double up as a consultant and with his experiences in farming and overseas training, he has successfully helped many growers who were once struggling to become profitable.
